Get a new frame of reference to a culture steeped in tradition in the upcoming exhibition “I Met You Along the Way: Portraits from Latin America.” As part of Denver’s Month of Photography, artist Colleen Hennessy uses her camera as both a bridge and catalyst to capture the beauty of everyday life and the rich traditions of the people in this region.

And after spending 27 months on the mountaintops of Honduras, she documented her experience as she embraced the culture as her own.
